- Sue is a dedicated Trainer with the San Diego chapter of A Girl & A Gun and serves as the RSO Lead. She is an experienced defensive pistol shooter who regularly hones her skills with both pistol and rifle in San Diego. Sue has trained with several nationally acclaimed instructors, including Tatiana Whitlock, Brian and Shelly Hill, Dakota Adelphia, John Murphy, Ed Monk, and many others.

- Her credentials include certification as a DOJ CCW Instructor. She is an NRA-certified Pistol Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO), NRA Personal Protection in the Home Instructor, and NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructor. Additionally, she is an Image-Based Decisional Drills Instructor (The Complete Combatant), A Girl & A Gun Trainer/Instructor, Certified Pepper Spray Instructor, and a POST-certified Red-Dot Instructor. Sue is also trained in Active Shooter Response.

Kim Johnson
- Kim Johnson is the Co-Founder of Ladies, Lead, and Laughter, an empowering initiative for women. She also serves as the President of the HDRGC in Morongo Valley. As a small business owner, Kim founded Taking Flight, where she provides private and group firearms training.
- Her extensive credentials include being a Certified DOJ CCW Instructor for both SBCSO under the HDRGC and Riverside County. Additionally, she holds certifications as an NRA Pistol Instructor, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer (RSO), NRA Personal Protection in the Home Instructor, NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructor, and a Certified USCCA CCW Instructor.
- Kim is a passionate advocate for education and safety in her community. She dedicates her time to hosting workshops and seminars that focus on building confidence, situational awareness, and self-defense skills for women of all ages. Her goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to feel secure and capable in their everyday lives.
